Sharon Scott Kay

Savannah- Sharon Sherry Scott Kay, 50, peacefully passed away at her residence Wednesday, June 4, 2008. She was the daughter of the late Granville Scott and the late Gloria Scott Darnell. She was a graduate of Jenkins High School and a retiree from the United States Postal Service. She was very active in the River Oaks Neighborhood Association and served as the Block Captain Coordinator and as the editor of the neighborhood directory.
She is survived by her loving family and friends—husband, Morris Kay; brothers and sisters-in-law, Randall and Kim Scott and Bruce and Pat Scott; step-daughters and their husbands, Karrie and Pete Beebe and Alisa and Jackson Young; nieces, Sharon Sherry Scott and Mandy Kai Warren; nephews, Bruce Scotty and Roscoe Scott; her son-at-large, Nicky Hern; and Brandy and Daisy, her best friends.
Graveside service will be held at Bonaventure Cemetery at 1 P.M., Saturday, June 7, 2008.
